Project Description

Berkshire Museum presented a selection of large-scale paintings by Roberto Juarez, from June 11 – October 22, 2011.

Inspired by his world travels and influenced by traditions of Hispanic and non-Western art, the works ranged in style and subject-depicting flora and fauna as well as employing geometric abstraction. Among the five pieces exhibited at the Museum were two new works, commissioned by the GSA’s Art in Architecture Project-Cultural Law and Natural Justice-exhibited for the first time publicly and ultimately destined for the Federal courthouse in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
