Planned Giving
There are numerous ways you can support Berkshire Museum through planned giving, enabling you to create a powerful personal legacy that will make a lasting impact on our mission.
Will or Living Trust
Your gift may be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after all other provisions are specified. Below is suggested language for use in drafting your bequest (please consult your own attorney or financial advisor);
“I give to The Trustees of the Berkshire Museum, a not-for-profit organization located at 39 South Street, Pittsfield, MA, [specific amount or percentage of the residuary estate] for its unrestricted general use and purpose.”

Retirement Plan or Life Insurance Policy
You can designate Berkshire Museum as a beneficiary of your retirement plan assets or life insurance policy. In naming Berkshire Museum as a beneficiary, you may need the following information:
Legal Name: Trustees of the Berkshire Museum
Address: 39 South Street, Pittsfield, MA
EIN: 04-2103878
These are just a few ways that planned giving can continue your support long into the future. Please contact William Demick at (413) 443-7171 ext. 382 or wdemick@berkshiremuseum.org to notify us of your plans or for more information on making a planned gift.
Additionally, if you have already named Berkshire Museum in your will or trust, please let us know. We would like to thank you for your generosity and commitment and welcome you to our Legacy Society. If you prefer to remain anonymous, we will keep your name and gift in strict confidence.
