Galleries 201 to 203, located on the second floor, will be closed from Monday, January 7, through Friday, February 8, as we install our newest exhibition, Leonardo da Vinci: Machines in Motion.
Leonardo da Vinci: Machines in Motion, which features 40 full-size mechanisms created from the Renaissance drawings of the artist and inventor, will open to the public on Saturday, February 9.
Gallery 204, located on the second floor, will be closed from Monday, January 7, through Thursday, January 31, as we update our exhibitions.
This space will reopen on Friday, February 1, with Objects and Their Stories: Oral Histories from the NAACP, in which leaders from the local African-American community and the NAACP Berkshire chapter share their stories accompanied by portraits, photography, and selected objects from the Museum’s collection.
Our current exhibition, Leonardo da Vinci: Machines in Motion, will close early at 2 pm on Friday, June 7. The exhibition will remain closed through Saturday, June 8, and reopen at noon on Sunday, June 9.
The Museum’s second floor galleries will be closed all day on Saturday, June 8 in preparation for the evening’s Women in Wine event. This impacts the following exhibitions:
