Berkshire Children’s Theater Presents Peter Rabbit and the Bunny Hop

The talented young performers of Berkshire Children’s Theater return to the Museum to perform their original musical version of the classic story Peter Rabbit under the direction of Kara Demler.

$15 adult, $8 child; Museum members $5 adult, $3 child; children ages 3 and under free. Ticket includes Museum admission.

Can you design machines like Da Vinci? Using design thinking strategies, create and test contraptions based on the four elements – earth, fire, wind, and water. Daily drop-in workshops will change every day during Ten Days of Play.

Pop Up Dance with UMass Amherst

UMass Amherst’s Dance Education crew comes to join the play at the Berkshire Museum’s Ten Days of Play. Join the dancers in movement games that incorporate the big blue blocks of Imagination Playground. Come be a part of this unique and interactive activity.

Use shakers and tambourines, and clap your hands as we learn about rhythm through games and music. Then dance, move, and sing along to some of your favorite tunes with local musician and friend of the Museum Andy Kelly.

Learn about the journey our food takes from the farm to your plate and everything in between! Make your own farm animal mask to wear as you play games, plant seeds, and learn how to make butter.

Discover people in our community who keep us safe. Learn about fire safety from Sparky the Fire Dog, try on costumes, and play act the ways community helpers offer support. We’ll have plenty of time to build our own cities and houses with the big, blue blocks of the Imagination Playground, and everyone will get their own firefighter hat to take home!
