D.R.E.A.M. Talks

Join us for an interactive conversation led by Reggie “Reg Roc” Gray, Jason Cust, and Abena Floyd from 6 to 6:30 pm on Friday, July 22, before the D.R.E.A.M. Ring dance competition begins.

Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and the Berkshire Museum team-up to bring the D.R.E.A.M. Ring (Dance Rules Everything Around Me) to Berkshire County Friday, July 22, 2016. Brooklyn-based Flex dance pioneer Reggie ‘Regg Roc’ Gray hosts a D.R.E.A.M. Ring dance competition event that honors the culture of the street dance community, encouraging dancers to “battle” with an emphasis on creativity, innovation, and storytelling.

Do you love Flexn, Hip-Hop, Breakdance, and Street dance? Are you a dancer or enthusiastic audience member? There are many ways to participate in this special one day event – take a Flex dance master class, battle in the D.R.E.A.M. Ring competition, or cheer on dancers from the audience.

D.R.E.A.M. RING is about being a part of a supportive community, offers the opportunity to share and learn from fellow dancers, and is open to all ages and experience levels. Come participate to find out more about the D.R.E.A.M. RING format, the distinctive battle styles (tag-team and two-man), share experiences, and learn about the world of the D.R.E.A.M. RING.
