Be a kitchen scientist with cool, hands-on, kid-safe experiments using ingredients found in most pantries. This week children will make their own “seed bombs” that can be used to sprout native wildflowers on bare patches of dirt and help bees and other pollinators thrive!

Explore Leonardo’s imaginative inventions at a reduced ticket price during extended evening hours every Saturday night. Use cranks, levers, and pulleys to test da Vinci’s mechanisms after family dinner,  bring your date to see a wooden battle tank, or spend some time marveling at flying machines before catching a Little Cinema screening.

Meet the residents of the Berkshire Museum Aquarium’s tide pool tank in this guided, hands-on educational program for all ages. This drop-in experience will be led by a member of the Museum’s staff who can answer your questions and help you interact with the exciting sea creatures in the tank.

Homeschool STEAM Spring Program: Robotics

Fascinated by LEGO bricks and technology? Over the period of four weeks, learn how to build and code a LEGO Mindstorms robot to execute every command. Utilize reading and math skills to design and implement the programs.

This series of four 1-hour sessions is designed specifically for homeschool families. A space to eat lunch will be made available so families can eat and mingle after each program. Recommended for, but not limited to, children ages 8 to 12.

Price: $30 per child for each 4-week series. Families with two or more children: $30 first child, $25 for each additional child. To register by phone, call 413-443-7171 ext. 360.
