Brewmaster

In Brewmaster, writer/director Douglas Tirola spotlights the dedication, patience, and artistry of the personalities behind the present-day craft beer “renaissance” in America. It focuses on Drew, a New York lawyer who aspires to open his own brewery, and Brian, a brewer studying to pass an intimidating test to gain the title of Master Cicerone. Established brewers like Jim Koch, Garrett Oliver and Sam Calagione are also featured.

WeeMuse: Littlest Learners
Oct 23 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Berkshire Museum is proud to present a program for little ones ages 6-18 months and their caregivers.

Come explore the world through your babies’ eyes! Positive verbal and physical interactions are a key element in their healthy growth and development. Together we will read stories, sing songs, learn sign language, and stretch our bodies and minds. There will also be time for caregivers to get to know each other, share stories, and gain information and knowledge from our collective parenting experiences. Play and learn with us every Tuesday.

WeeMuse programs are generously sponsored by Berkshire Bank Foundation.

Black '47

In 1847, an Irish Ranger and battle-hardened soldier (James Frecheville) returns from war to find that his mother has died from starvation in the Great Famine and his brother is sentenced to death by the British. When his plan to emigrate to America fails, something snaps, sending him on a relentless quest to get even with the powers-that-be who have wronged both his family and his country. There is only one man who can stop Feeney’s bloody crusade: disgraced British army veteran Hannah (Hugo Weaving), whose own loyalties may be more complex than they appear.
