Berkshire Actors Theatre presents Doubt and Four Dogs and a Bone
Berkshire Actors Theatre 2012 summer season features two plays by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley: Doubt: A Parable and Four Dogs and a Bone will be performed in repertory. Doubt explores its characters’ struggle to hold on to their deeply held beliefs within the confines of a Bronx Catholic School in 1964; Four Dogs and a Bone is a hilarious send-up of the movie industry. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast presented by Barrington Stage Company Youth Theatre
Step into the enchanted world of Broadway’s modern classic, Beauty and the Beast. Based on Disney’s Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version features favorite film songs and new ones, too! You’ll be transported to the heart of French provincial life as you follow the tale of Belle and the Beast in a story of love, courage and transformation.
New this year! Barrington Stage Company’s Youth Theatre will be performed at Berkshire Museum. Experience the magic of the Berkshire Museum and Barrington Stage Company with a Museum/Theatre Pass. Dig for dinosaur bones, explore a coral reef, admire paintings from the Hudson River School, then watch Disney’s Beauty and the Beast come alive. Art, history, science, and singing silverware – who could ask for anything more?
