In conjunction with Alchemy Initiative’s fifth annual Handmade Holiday Festival, to be held December 1 & 2, 2012, during Berkshire Museum’s Festival of Trees 2012: Myths & Magic, November 16, 2012 – January 2, 2013, shoppers will be able to preview several of the local artists and designers at Berkshire Museum leading up to the weekend of the Alchemy event.
Each Saturday in November, Berkshire Museum will host pop-up trunk shows featuring artists from the Handmade Holiday Festival. Artists scheduled to show are Beverly Bourassa, Ali Herrmann, Susan Geller, Crystal Popko, Diane Firtell, and Ella Salomea.
This weekend, the artists participating are Diane Firtell and Ella Salomea.

Handmade Holiday Festival is a celebration of local and regional artisans every first weekend of December. The event showcases original, handmade wares by artists, crafters, designers, and culinary artisans. The event connects the community with the makers and promotes and supports local, handmade craft.
About Festival of Trees
Visit a wondrous world of enchantment when Festival of Trees 2012: Myths & Magic opens at the Berkshire Museum on Friday evening, November 16, 2012, with a gala Opening Night Party, and will then be on view to the public from Saturday, November 17, through January 2, 2013. The 28th annual holiday event will feature more than 100 twinkling holiday trees, decked in colorful ornaments representing the mythical, magical realms of legend and lore, arranged throughout the Museum’s galleries.
